Outfit Transition: Day on the Town to Night at the Museum

It's always a good weekend when you have a fully planned Saturday! If you live in New York you know that convenience is a major key. I like to keep it simple when it comes to my outfits by wearing comfy, but still "event appropriate" shoes. I started my day off by going to lunch with some of my colleagues and then we enjoyed a day of shopping. Later that evening I went to an event at the Brooklyn Museum so I decided to switch it up a bit. Using the same jacket, shirt and hat; I was able to create two different looks. Who else gets all dressed up just because they're excited it's a Friday?! Inspired by Rihanna's latest look, I wore this button down shirt that I thrifted years ago.
